Week 3: Class comments
Class was pretty interesting last Tuesday. George from the Golden Gate National Parks came over and briefed to us on our future projects. When it was time to pick a brief, my name was called maybe…9th or something and all my first three choices were taken! Bummer…but maybe like Mauro said that it’ll give us a chance to think further and get better results…I’m excited to work on my brief, The Alcatraz volunteer program and am looking forward to seeing my classmates work!

Visual Literacy "Pacman" Project
Another project from Visual Literacy class was selecting an event that could be described in a typical time-base measurement (hours, minutes, seconds) which has a beginning and an end.
I decided to breakdown me playing Pacman, my primary measurement was my score, secondry measurements were ghosts eaten, fruits eaten, number of times I screamed and cursed...
This is the outcome...
Visual Literacy "Dog Rescue Service" Project
One of my projects for Visual Literacy was about finding a hand-drawn poster/ad and recreating it with the same tools and elements used in the original poster (same colors, paper, pens...).
After recreating it, we took our projects further by using only the original intent of the poster and designing a multi-page, 3D object and a poster for it.
The poster I found was for a lost Chihuahua, later I turned it into a Dog Rescue Service; where I designed a brochure, 3 posters, van branding and the dog catcher's uniform.
This was the original poster I found...

Digital Design Studio Class "First Impression"!!
Well, when I first got to my first Digital Design class,
to be honest I had no clue what the class was about, but
after getting further into it, I realized that it is a pretty interesting class.
I have got the chance to take a web design class in my college years, I learned how to create an html and flash website, I'm not so sure I still remember the html at all
but I'm still a little familiar with Flash, although I'm
sure my skills have gotten a little rusty...
